Policemen And Power Rangers Are Not My Heroes
Every kid has a hero, from what I remember when I was a little kid there were always kids from my class that they said their heroes were firemen, policeman, superheroes, back in the early 90s power rangers were every kids heroes, or everyone admire their dad. I would not say I was one of those kids who said the person who admired was the power rangers, but as I started growing up I realize that my mother was actually my biggest heroine and the person that I admire most in the world, not only because she is my progenitor but because she is perseverant, intelligent, and a she has been the person I had learned more from.
I can say that my mom is perseverant person, because she has done until now everything that she always wanted. My mom has a master in psychology but it took her a really long time to achieve that for a many amount of reasons. She was a single mother until I was four, so that situation I did not helped her to get a degree around that time. She always had to be working overtime and also weekends, so we could live economically well. We did not live in a big house and had everything, but her salary was more than enough to pay all the bills, to pay my school tuition and also to entertain ourselves. She is not a single mother today, she has been with my stepfather for more than 15 years, but along those years she has had numerous jobs and they would not satisfied her like she wanted, so it was probably around 6 years ago that she started her degree in psychology. It was really a great effort she did to finished a degree for my mom, in those six years of hard work there were ups and downs in family situations but anything of that made her stop, she did not let herself get down, she study hard and she ended up being one of best of her class, and from being a perseverant person my mother ended up having something that she always wanted.
My mother has always been a smart, clever and intelligent woman. In 20 I have known her and lived with her there have been numerous situations in our lives that I assure anybody that if that happened to them they would break and fall down, but my mom has always found a way on how to resolve her problems and biggest mistakes, not letting her break into little pieces, close her mind to the world, and just do nothing. No, in a strange way my mother has always found a way to get out or overcome her problems. Not only her intelligence has let her survive in life, but also has helped her to achieve great things and job positions no one with out a degree would ever imagined. In her younger years my mom used to work at Sony in Tijuana, she used to be the Assistant of Human Resources Director, she did not started in that position, she started as a Receptionist of the company, but her great skills, intelligence and great communication with people led her to get over top of many others.
My mom has been my teacher, my tutor, my Mister Miyagi in life. My way of living life it is thanks to my mother, like any other mother she taught me all the good and bad things I should know to live a great, long, prosper and trouble free life, but that not only what my mom has taught me, through the years I had learned from her mistakes and achievements, to become a bigger and better person. Even though I am almost 21, my mom still helps me out with my problems and gives me the tools so I can learn from my mistakes, so in the future if I might be involved in the same kind of situation I will not commit the same mistake. That is what I really most about my mom, everyday I really can learn something new from her, even though she tells me the opposite, but I will never have the whole experience she has in all my lifetime.
There are more amazing qualities I could think about my mom, but those are the top three I think that really make my mother as a wonderful human being, as a person I can always rely on, not that I want to get all my problems resolved by her, but I want to learn as much as I can from her, to be perseverant like her, to be as clever and smart like her, on hopefully if I have kids one day, I could for them like my mom is for me, a great teacher, a role model, or even so a hero.
